ABOUT US

Food Processing and FMCG distribution

DNJ Agro & Foods Pvt. Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of the esteemed Satyagiri Group, a multifaceted business conglomerate deeply rooted in real estate investment. Previously, our core expertise lay in the maritime sector, specifically shipping. In a strategic move, we have diversified our portfolio to include food processing and are poised to venture into the distribution of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) while concurrently establishing a prominent presence in sustainable agriculture.

Under the astute leadership of Mr. Dinesh Joshi, our company’s helmsman, we benefit from his extensive background in Shipping, Infrastructure, Luxury Cruise, Investment, Startup Mentoring in the Netherlands, and the trading of natural resources. Mr. Joshi is a distinguished member of the Board of Directors and Managing Committee at the IMC Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai, founded in 1907, and holds a prestigious position as a National Executive Committee Member of FICCI. He is also the Chairman of the International Business Committee of IMC Chamber of Commerce. His involvement in significant delegations and discussions with both national and global leaders underscores his influence in the business landscape. Notably, he initiated the India UAE Partnership Summit in collaboration with Dubai Chambers in January 2023.

In our modest capacity, we are dedicated to fostering the growth of women entrepreneurs in rural Bharat by championing their agricultural initiatives.

In alignment with our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), we actively support a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) based in Uttar Pradesh. Comprising 752 women farmers from Firozabad, this FPO has established a potato chips manufacturing plant. DNJ Agro & Foods provides financial assistance to sustain and market their products. The FPO, consisting of 10 directors and 650 shareholders, all women and members of a self-help group, has successfully launched Arch Chips, the first potato chips factory in Firozabad, with over six lakh packets produced by April this year.
